My Recent Sewing Projects

After taking a month or two off from sewing for the birth of my cute little son, I have finished a few new projects. I've been making sleep sacks for my son and daughter in preparation for the upcoming winter. I also made a cute pair of overalls. Both patterns were created by peek-a-boo Pattern Shop. I love, love, love their patterns since the designs are cute, yet practical, and the instructions are well written.

Here are some pictures of the footed sleep sack and overalls. The fabric for the sleep sack is a cotton/lycra knit I bought from either fabric.com or JoAnn's last year. The fabric for overalls is a pique I bought from fabric.com last year.

After taking a month or two off from sewing for the birth of my perfect little son, I have finished a few new projects. I've been making sleep sacks for my son and daughter in preparation for the upcoming cold Midwestern winter. I also made a cute pair of overalls for my daughter since it will be easy to add a layer of Cuddl Duds underneath. Both patterns were created by peek-a-boo Pattern Shop. I love, love, love their patterns since the designs and cute, yet practical, and the instructions are well written. I am now kicking myself for buying patterns similar to those offered from peek-a-boo Pattern Shop from another pattern designer whose instructions are not nearly as clear and whose patterns aren't nearly as well constructed. Here are some pictures of my daughter's footed sleep sack and overalls. The fabric for the sleep sack is a cotton/lycra knit I bought from either fabric.com or JoAnn's last year. The fabric for overalls is a pique I bought from fabric.com last year.
